Three UCL PhDs building the AI-native R&D operating layer for antibody therapeutics.
Our story.
The three of us met at UCL — Shibo on AI methods, Chunan on antibody engineering, Lilian on translational immunology — working in the Davson lab on the next generation of structural bioinformatics.
We spun out as abYcloud in the UK to turn that research into an AI-native R&D operating layer for antibody therapeutics.
On 02 August 2024 we incorporated abYcloud (HK) Limited and took our seat at HKSTP InnoCentre. Hong Kong is our R&D orchestration and commercialisation hub — the international interface between UK research and Greater Bay Area execution, and the structural fit for cross-border antibody therapeutic development.
In 2026 we took a base at the HKUST Shanghai Center in Xuhui — the university's first industry-academia-research base in the Yangtze River Delta — so the loop that runs between London and Hong Kong now reaches the Yangtze River Delta.

UCL PhD in Computational Biology (Biosciences). Structural bioinformatics and molecular AI specialist; built the scalable tech stacks running in production. Contributor at the UCL Centre for Digital Innovation (AWS-affiliated) with industry experience at leading global biotech companies.

UCL PhD in Computational Biology (Biosciences), MRC-funded. T-cell receptor research and T-cell immunoinformatics specialist. Industry experience including work with a leading immuno-oncology company during her PhD.

We are scientists and engineers working across AI methods, antibody engineering and structural biology, between London, Hong Kong and Shanghai. The work is the closed loop itself: designs go to the bench, structures come back from the microscope, and the model learns from what actually happened.
